Our aim is to achieve for clients the most efficient and cost effective insurance and reinsurance recoveries, either augmenting or working in tandem with existing claims departments.
Generally this will begin with review of a client's claim files, to identify the prospects of recovery for each file. Then, in close dialogue with the clients' claims department we will then assess which of the files can be closed. Next, working with associated companies in the loss adjusting, reinsurance investigation and asset tracing fields, we carry out the further enquiries necessary to identify the recovery status of the files whose prospects were uncertain at first assessment. Where this involves expenditure, full details are provided to the client. In respect of files where recovery may be possible, careful consideration is given as to the most cost efficient means and forum to be used: negotiation, conciliation, mediation, litigation, arbitration, or simply the exploitation of market contacts, or an agreed form of bordereaux.
